Step 1: You need login into Alura. Then go to the Follow-up Reminder option.
Step 2: Now, you need to set up the Customised Text by clicking on the Settings options in the top right corner.
Step 3: After There you will find 2 bars. 1 for the New Customer and another 1 is for the Repeat Customer.
- New Customer: Here you can see some variables/attributes or the smart tags for creating the text or message. You can use those smart tags and it will logically refer to the orders or buyer’s name, Code/name or number of the Shipping city, and also the date that has been ordered for the products. So, it will make your text more generic to your customer as you are using their personal information of the order.
- Repeat customer: It is a unique feature from Alura. Cause, Alura will automatically check whether the customer has purchased before or not. If Yes, then a repeat customer message will be copied as a Follow-up text. You can customize this any way you want like the New customer bar.
- On the below section of the page, you will find a part named Scheduled. This section is important. You can set the time to schedule your message.
- When you mark your order as completed then it will wait for the days you are putting as values. It will wait for the scheduled days and then make the order as Send Now on Alura.
- Advanced options: In the Advanced section, you can also set up rules for your domestic and international shipping. If it is a domestic shipping order then you can set your domestic country like we are going to select here for the United Kingdom and we are going to set the days for 7. Cause my shipping works on or within the 7 days.
By adding these rules you can schedule your message very easily. Next, just click on the Save option. And, Scheduled will be set up along with the Customised Follow-up Reminder Text.
Step 4: To send the follow-up reminder simply just hover over the Send Now button and click on it.
Two things will happen there:
- It will open the order on the Etsy tab/page
- At the time of opening the tab, it will cope with a personalized text/message. So, it gonna paste a personalized text from your clipboard in the box section (or, Select all [Ctrl+A] and Just Paste [Ctrl+V] it).
You can see the text really contains personalized information with a Customer name with specific variants. Then we just need to click on the Send button and the follow-up reminder will be sent from your Etsy account via Alura Tool.
