What is Amazon MCF?

Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment is a fulfillment service that makes use of Amazon’s warehouses to keep items and handle order fulfillment for both Amazon and the Brand’s websites. We can say, it is a subset of the Amazon FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) service.

With MCF, you will get access to Amazon’s top-notch fulfillment network. When your website or Shopify items inventory is at an Amazon fulfillment center, MCF takes care of picking, packing, and shipping of orders placed on sales channels other than Amazon directly to customers.

By using MCF, no matter the carrier, you will receive tracking information for your orders, which are fully trackable with real-time updates for deliveries. Alternatively, you can also decide to have your customer’s returns sent back to an Amazon fulfillment facility so they can be added to your stock.

Shopify Apps to Integrate with Amazon:

When it comes to integration between Amazon and Shopify, you might be wondering! How to connect if there isn’t any option to do so? As there was a war between Amazon and Shopify a few months ago and they closed down order automation or multi-channel fulfillment.

However, for you as a retailer, it’s crucial to know if you can perform Shopify Amazon integration even if there’s no option in Shopify.

The answer is Yes.

There are a lot of handful third-party apps in the Shopify store that can help you realize Shopify-Amazon integration like Joelister, Amazon Importer Spreadr App, Zonify-Amazon Dropshipping, Amazon FBA / MCF Shipping, Amazon MCF by WebBee, Amazon FBA shipping, and more.

Out of all the apps, we are going to talk about 2 apps that are recommended by Amazon: Amazon MCF by WebBee and Amazon FBA shipping by Bytestand

Both are very similar in features like automatically tracking and fulfilling orders via FBA, switching FBA accounts during checkout, Notifying customers and closing orders, etc. but the key difference is the pricing plan.

WebBee’s pricing plan is based on the number of orders, so if you’re having up to 50 orders per month, you’re on the starter plan. For up to 1000 orders per month, there is the basic plan, and for unlimited orders, there is the advanced plan.

Whereas Bytestand keeps it simple with their pricing plan. It’s just a flat $25 per month and that is for unlimited orders and $20 for each additional marketplace.
