How to Create an Amazon Brand Story Feature | Tell Your Brand Story on Amazon

We all know Amazon is a crowded marketplace where millions of sellers compete with each other to showcase their items on the top page. So, it’s difficult for any seller to create a place on Amazon. Sometimes, having a well-optimized product listing and a competitive product price is not enough to convert traffic into sales. To help all registered sellers brand their products, Amazon launched their new feature, Brand Story, with some interesting modules.

What is Amazon Brand Story

The Brand Story is a complementary marketing feature similar to A+ content available for both Amazon seller central and vendors central. Amazon Brand Story is displayed as a scrollable carousel made up of customizable modules where brands can tell their story, mission, and vision, engage shoppers, and ultimately drive sales.

Brand Story is available to all sellers enrolled in the Amazon brand registry program. Whether or not you want to use the brand story feature, sellers are encouraged to join the brand registry program, as it offers advanced tools to protect and present your brand on Amazon. You can also meet the additional requirements that you can not display through the A+ pages through the brand story page.

Where Can Amazon Brand Story Be Found

The brand story appears right above your A+ Content in a dedicated section called “From The Brand,” making it highly visible to the shoppers who scroll down to read the reviews or view A+ Content. When creating your Brand Story, you will need the following points to create an Amazon Brand Story page:

✅  Brand name
✅  Brand logo
✅  Registered trademark
✅  Up to three high-resolution product images
✅  A cover image (brand focus image)
✅  About the brand statement

Modules of Amazon Brand Story

The Amazon brand story adding page will see the below-described modules to add and customize. This will help you to make your images and prepare the text.

Brand Carousel Background Module for Amazon Brand Story

This mandatory module lets you add a background image with the option to add a headline and body text. We recommend you add a clean background image that blends in perfectly while other photos are cycling through.

For this module, there are some specifications you need to keep in mind, like having the background image sized at (1464 by 625) pixels with the headline text character limited to 30 characters and the body text character limited to 135 characters.

Brand ASIN & Store Showcase Module for Amazon Brand Story

This module will redirect customers to your product detail pages or Amazon seller storefront. It works similarly to the comparison module of A+ Content. As this module is intended for cross-selling and increasing your average order value, we recommend you rename this module to “View Our Collection.” For this module, your Image size should be (166 by 182) pixels, with the headline text character limited to 30 characters.

Brand Focus Image Module for Amazon Brand Story

This is a visual module where you can add an image of the brand’s creator that displays your product line or any other image that defines your brand and aligns with your messaging. In this module, your Image size should be (362 by 453) pixels, with the headline text character limited to 30 characters.

Brand Logo & Description Module for Amazon Brand Story

In this module, you can add your brand logo and a short description of your brand. This is a great place to tell your brand story. In this module, your Image size should be (315 by 145) pixels, with the body text character limited to 450 characters.

How To Upload A Brand Story for Amazon

Here is the step-by-step process to make your product page look great! You can easily get your product page to look attractive and desirable.

Step 1: Access Your Amazon Seller Account

At the very beginning to set your brand story on Amazon, you will need to log in to your seller account. Also, note that this will require having the brand registry. Now, login into your account on Amazon Seller Central.
