Increase your conversion rate by more than 12% by creating a mosaic arrangement of Amazon A+ content

A+ Content, formerly known as Enhanced Brand Content (EBC), is a unique way inside Amazon Seller Central that allows Amazon brand owners to customize the product description by combining elements such as high-quality images, enhanced product descriptions, comparison charts, etc.  

We know that we can only add eight images, five to ten bullet points (depending on the product category or merchant type), and a plain text product description of up to 2,000 characters to Amazon listings. But A+ content (Enhanced Brand Content) offers brand owners a more effective way to engage with customers with many lifestyle images, iconography, and many more things. A+ content replaces the normal text description to provide an excellent shopping experience, drive more traffic, and increase conversion rates. There are many ways to design an A+ content for your Amazon products. There are 17 standard modules in Amazon Seller Central, so we can design and add the modules as we wish. At Ecomclips, we have been designing Amazon A+ content for the last 5 years. We have tried many strategies to find a suitable way to design Amazon A+ content that can bring more conversion rates and eventually more sales. One of them is the Mosaics Arrangement design. We found that when we design the modules in a mosaic arrangement, it looks more appalling to the customers.

What is the Mosaics Arrangement on Amazon A+ content ?

A mosaic is a picture made by arranging the small pieces together, and then it all comes together as one large image. See this attached image below where you can, it looks like one single image; not separated into modules.

The Effectiveness of Designing Amazon A+ Content as a Mosaic Arrangement: 

To check its effectiveness, we applied A/B testing on two A+ content. One is the usual design A+ and the other one is made with a mosaic arrangement. Here’s the normal one (separated into modules):

After 10 weeks of A/B testing, we got this result.

A/B Testing Outcome: 

In the A/B testing results, we discovered that the probability for the previous design is 58%. But the probability for the second design is 70%. So we discovered that by designing Amazon A+ content as a mosaic arrangement, we can increase sales by 12%. Amazon itself suggests that version B is better, and we got higher conversion and sales from version B.

We can say that on Amazon, A+ content can increase your sales, but designing A+ content in an appalling way can sell more.
