The new features of this update
This update introduces several features to the sellers. With these features, sellers can now easily identify their aging inventory and make decisions.
Filtering Option
There are some filters at the top of the new analytics page. You can use these features to analyze data by different date ranges, for different products, and granularity.
Date
In the inventory age and access page, you can adjust the start date to one year in the past. The end date will always be set for yesterday. So that you can see the latest data available.
Products
From the product filter, you can select SKUs. If you want to see data for any particular product, you can filter it in this section.
Granularity
You can also use the granularity filter to analyze data per day, week, or month. The purpose of these filters is to make the graph and data table easier to read for a large data range.
Key Performance Indicators
The key performance indicator cards show the key metrics related to your aging and excess inventory.
Total Aging Inventory
The total aging inventory is the number of units you have in the fulfillment network that are considered to be aging.
SKUs with Estimated Excess Units
SKUs with an estimated excess unit are those that will cost you more to keep in stock. This means it could be better to either lower their price or remove them from inventory. By taking action, like reducing the price or clearing the inventory, you can avoid unnecessary storage costs.
Estimated Excess Units
The estimated excess units are the total number of units estimated to be in excess.
Inventory Age Trends Graph
The Inventory Age Trends graph shows the number of aging units for each day, week, or month. You can use filters to make the graph more understandable for you.
And you will find the summary on the right side of it. Here you’ll find the percentage increase in aged inventory.
Insight Cards
This page’s key feature is the Insight Cards, which offer strategic recommendations from Amazon to regulate your inventory levels and minimize excess stock.
You know that in FBA, you will be charged more if your inventory remains in the fulfillment network for longer.
Aged Inventory Surcharge
The aged inventory surcharge shows the estimated units with the aged inventory surcharge and the estimated surcharge amount.
Inventory Aged Trends
Inventory aged trends show the increase or decrease of your aged inventory.
