In this documentation, we will talk about the “Stricken off” feature of Linnworks which is designed for eBay. Without a doubt, We will highlight what is actually meant by strike off in Linnworks. Also you will learn, why we do this “Strike off” for eBay on Linnworks.
What is Stricken Off
When we want to remove the connection of an item or SKU within eBay and Linnworks, we proceed to Strike Off. Sometimes when we list an item on eBay we mistakenly put the wrong SKUs and the wrong Custom Level. Sometimes we want to change the Custom Level on eBay. But when we put any Custom level in eBay, it automatically comes in the Linnworks mapping window. So when we change the custom level on eBay but the previous Custom level is also present on the Mapping window, sometimes the wrong or previous Custom level will relist automatically on eBay. It will create some serious issues for your mappings. To prevent this issue we need to strike off the wrong SKU’s or custom level from the mapping window. When we do the “Strike Off”, Linnworks will not pass any information to the eBay listing.
Procedure of Stricken Off:
- Select the ‘Settings’ tab on Linnworks.
- Click on ‘Channel Integration’.
- Click on the ‘Mapping’ button Under Inventory Mapping for your eBay channel.
- Click on the ‘View Log’ button In the eBay Mapping screen.
- Strike off offers 3 types of listing.
- Active Listings: Active Items.
- Pending Relist: When the item comes back into stock.
- Ended: Listings that have been ended if ‘Pending Relist’ is not enabled.
- Locate the listing you need to strike off.
- Right click the Listing entry, and select the ‘Strike Off’ option.
