What is a Shipping Template?
A shipping template on Amazon is something that lets you manage your shipping settings for several products at once. With the template, you can edit/manage service levels, shipping regions, transit times, and shipping rates in an efficient way. You can create up to 20 shipping templates for specific groups of SKUs.
You can provide free shipping or you can charge only for international orders or you can offer global free shipping also. These options are customizable in the template and you can assign your customized shipping templates on each of your SKU.
Update Shipping Template on Amazon
Step-1: First, log in to your seller central account. Then, hover over “Inventory” and click on “Manage Inventory”.
You will find the current shipping template’s name under the price of every product.
Step-2: Select any item and click on the dropdown beside the “Edit” button.
Step-3: Select the “Change shipping template”.
Step-4: Select your preferred shipping template.
Step-5: Click on the “Yes, continue” button from the yellow bordered box.
You will find a notification that your changes will be reflected within 15 minutes.
Within 15 minutes you will notice the change.
Step-6: You can also select more than one item from the left-hand side action button. Select your preferred shipping template, and it will be updated within 15 minutes.
You can change up to 250 SKUs at a time using the seller central “Manage Inventory” page. Use feeds for more than 250 changes. Updated shipping enhances your possibility of winning the buy box.
