The way to obtain that standard or baseline is downloading the The category listing report. This report will help us by providing product title, description and all the other information associated with our product . By enabling this report we can download the item information according to category.
How To Enable:
Primarily amazon did not give us the access to download the category listing report. To activate the category listing report, we need to follow the following steps:
- Go to Seller Central account.
- Select ‘Help’ in the upper right corner. When the help tab pops up, select ‘Contact Us’.
- Select ‘Your Account’ > ‘Other Account Issue’.
- Create a ticket for the Amazon support team and ask for the activation of the Category Listings Report. You can do it via email, phone call or chat. Amazon will turn on the ability for you to download inventory reports by Category.
How to Download the Report:
Once we have the ability to download the report we can get it the in the Inventory Report area of seller central.
- Go to Inventory -> Inventory Report
- Then select report type as ‘category Listing Report’ from dropdown.
- Select the category you wish to download.
- Click on ‘Request Report’.
5 .Then Click ‘Download’ to get the report.
