How to Customize or Edit Your Storefront URL on Amazon

With Amazon storefronts, you have a fantastic opportunity to access new markets and boost your brand’s awareness. On both the desktop and mobile platforms, Amazon shops provide an enhanced Brand-Centric buying experience. The biggest benefit of Amazon Stores is that it allows you to deliver personalized information to potential clients and expose them to your business. The good thing is that Amazon allows you to customize your storefront URL. In this article, we will guide you on how to customize or edit your storefront URL on Amazon.

For your personal store, Amazon Storefront provides you with a unique Amazon web address. This is a fantastic tool to use for off-platform advertising, especially on social media sites where the domain redirects to a well-known site like Amazon.

Before showing you the whole process, we just want to let you know that, Amazon Storefront is available for only those sellers who have the brand registry on Amazon.

Customize Your Storefront URL on Amazon

Please follow the below steps to customize your storefront URL on Amazon Seller Central.

Step 1: Log into your Amazon Seller Central account to begin customizing your Amazon Storefront.

Step 2: Once you are in, go to the “Settings” option which is located right top of the screen. Then select “Account Info” from the Settings dropdown

Step 3: The Seller Account Information page will appear after clicking account info. Click the “Display Name” option which is under the “Business Information”.

Step 4: The Seller Information page will come up. Here you have to choose the appropriate marketplace which storefront URL you want to customize and click the “Edit” button beside the Store details.

Step 5: The Edit Store Details page will appear. You must edit on the right side of the Storefront Link

Make sure your storefront name is unique and hasn’t been used before.  The brand name is desirable as a storefront name. You can put your company’s name here and Amazon will verify it. If the store name is utilized, the alert will be accompanied by a red exclamation point.

It will offer you a green check when it is available when it is unique. Once you’ve decided on a shop URL, click the Submit button to preserve it and claim it as your own.

After you’ve submitted, you’ll get a green callout confirming your submission.

When you wish to visit your store, simply type www.amazon.com/shops/your-store-name in the address bar and you will find your store. Now you may share your brand new URL on any social media platform

To sum up, Amazon Storefronts act as a “mini-website” for brands on the platform. It offers small and midsized businesses a platform for selling products directly through Amazon.
