Step 1: Selecting Amazon Listing for Syncing Inventory and Price through Codisto
We will first go to our Amazon seller account to select which product we are going to sync inventory and price with Shopify from Amazon via Condisto. We need to choose a product that isn’t already synced and has all the required information filled in. Syncing inventory and price of a certain product with Codisto will allow for changes and updates to be made automatically whenever needed from Shopify.
Step 2: Log into Shopify Account to sync Inventory and Price through Codisto
After selecting our desired Amazon product to sync inventory and price, we will need to log into our Shopify account. When you complete your login criteria, you will be taken directly to your Shopify Home Page. There you will be able to see the drop-down option for ‘Amazon by Codisto’ located in the bottom left corner of the menu bar. Once we have searched and found our desired product to sync inventory and price, we will need to click on the product title of that item. Clicking on the product title will take us to a new page where you will be able to see vital information about the chosen product like product SKU, Offer Sync, Seller SKU, GTIN, and ASIN.
Step 5: Inputting ASINs from Amazon Page for Syncing Inventory and Price through Codisto
As we can see, the GTIN of our selected product is already filled in for use. Now we have to just input the ASIN of our product in the given column. For this, we need to go to our Amazon listing and retrieve the correct ASIN for our product and place it here accordingly. After we have done that, we need to go to the ‘Offer Sync’ option to activate the sync feature for this product to automate the process of syncing inventory and price.
Now we will recheck all the information and crossmatch it with our Amazon listed product and see if there are any mistakes. When everything is done, we will click on the ‘Save’ button at the top of the page to save all the changes that we have made, this will allow Codisto to sync inventory and price of the desired product with Shopify. After saving the product, it will take about 3 to 4 minutes to sync the Amazon listing with Shopify and then you are done.
Step 6: Checking the Synced Amazon Product with Shopify through Codisto
After we have completed the syncing inventory and price, we can now check if we have accurately synced the Amazon product with our Shopify store via Codisto. To check the product, we will need to make changes to the product from our Shopify app and see if it reflects the same in Amazon too. If it does then we have successfully synced the inventory and price of our Amazon listing to Shopify.
