Bulk Update Handling Time through Excel File on Amazon

In this article, we will discuss How to update the handling time on Amazon through the inventory loader file.

The Handling Time is the number of business days between receiving an order for a product and shipping the product. Amazon refers to handling time as “Fulfillment Latency”.

The default handling time that is sent to your Amazon store is 1 – 2 business days. If your handling time is longer than 1 – 2 business days, you can specify handling times in ShippingEasy. The handling time values will be included with inventory updates sent to your Amazon store.

For updating the handling time through  Bulk Update on Amazon

you need to follow the below steps:

Step 1: Log in to Amazon seller central, then go to Inventory and click the Add Products via Upload option.

Now, click on Download an Inventory File under Add Products via Upload.

Here, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Inventory Loader (use ‘x’ ).

Now, from the new tab click on Inventory Loader Template.

Step 2. After successfully downloading the Inventory Loader File please open it. Now, fill the SKU and Handling time columns with correct information.

Step 3. After filling up the required information. Please save the file in Text (Tab delimited) (*.txt) format.

Step 4. To upload the file go to Inventory and click the Add Products via Upload option.

Now,  click on Upload your Inventory File from Add Products via Upload.

Here, select the File type as Inventory Loader File and attach the file that you want to upload. After attaching the file, please click on Upload.

After successfully uploading the loader file, you can see the Processing Report on Monitor Upload Status. Please keep the Batch ID for your future reference.
