Long-term Storage Fee

Long-term storage fees have been adjusted, with the minimum storage duration for assessing fees reduced from 365 to 180 days. This change may impact sellers with slow-moving inventory.

Preparation Service Fee

There are some changes to Amazon’s preparation service fee. Bubble wrap for standard size will cost $0.24 more per unit, while labeling fees will stay at $0.55 per unit.

Shipping and Disposal Fee

Shipping and disposal fees will increase in most categories depending on size and weight, ranging from $0.05 to $1.27 per unit. Make sure you’re aware of these changes to avoid surprises.

Liquidation Fees

We are happy to share that liquidation fees will remain unchanged. Keep an eye out for these adjustments to keep your Amazon business running smoothly.

Low-level Inventory fee

If your standard-sized products consistently run low on inventory compared to sales, Amazon will charge you a fee starting from April 1st. If your inventory falls below that 28-day mark, the fee jumps from $0.36 to $1.11 per unit.

Returns Processing Fee

The new returns processing fee is going to be effective on June 1st. This fee will be expanded to items with high return rates in all categories, excluding apparel and shoes.

Apparel Fee

Starting January 15th, 2024, there are new changes to the referral fees for clothes priced at $20 or less. If an item costs less than $15, the fee goes down from 17% to 5%. For items priced between $15 and $20, the fee decreases from 17% to 10%. But if the clothing costs more than $20, the fee stays the same at 17%. These changes aim to make it fairer for sellers and encourage more sales of affordable clothing.

Otherwise, it’s going to be a big problem. So, don’t forget to check all the data you need.
