Basically, there are 2 ways to leave feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If the client wants to end a contract<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the freelancer ends a contract, then the client can give feedback<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is another way to give feedback which is called \u201c<strong>Mid-Contract Feedback\u201d. <\/strong>In Mid-Contract Feedback, you can give feedback in the middle of a running contract but it has to meet some terms and conditions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this article, we are going to discuss all the aspects of giving feedback on Upwork in detail.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>If the client wants to end a contract:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the client wants to end the contract with a freelancer or agency, then he has to give a review to end the contract. Click on \u201c<strong>Select a reason<\/strong>\u201d, then select \u201c<strong>Job completed successfully\u201d <\/strong>or the other options as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/JWQ-eHJyGm0araQKafC2-FQCFxi7_tXs-tnVNR-mMlZ2wM855P8pDpM8yerhuLFz47qrnzU3P4F5VKZlKmzA3nTp5O5qHQY5jyNwsDQCK0LxXLzg_W1-E-MqSfxP767fnBaCjMn6\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Second<\/strong>, you can also recommend the person on a scale of 10. The system is double-blind, which means that feedback won\u2019t be visible until both parties provide it for each other. If only one party leaves feedback, it will be posted after the 14 days have expired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mid-Contract Feedback:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With Mid-Contract Feedback, a client can choose to leave public feedback for a freelancer before a contract has ended.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As discussed before, there are 2 types of feedback for contracts at Upwork. These are public and private. Mid-Contract feedback is public. It will show on a freelancer or agency&#8217;s Work History, but will not factor into their Job Success Score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For leaving mid-contract feedback, there are some criteria that the contract has to meet. These are:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>30 days have passed since the contract started<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There was payment on the contract in the previous 30 days<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The client has not provided feedback in the last 30 days<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If these criteria meet, a client can choose to proactively provide Mid-Contract Feedback, or a freelancer can request feedback from the client. As a client, if you want to provide Mid-Contract Feedback, you can follow the following steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Step 1: Find out the Contract that meets the above-mentioned 3 Terms.
