In this article, we will show the procedure of enabling two-step verification on secondary Amazon accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously whenever we activated the two-step verification we needed to go to the account setting option and then we needed to manually set the two-step verification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But now when we create a secondary account at that time we can enable the two-step verification very easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enabling two-step verification<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1:<\/strong> After receiving the invitation from Seller central<\/strong> via mail we will click on the marked area to come upon the next step. After clicking we can see the create account page and for creating an account we have to fill in all required information, like – Your name, email, etc. Then click on Create Your Amazon Account.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Then for verifying Amazon will send a One Time Password (OTP) on your email that email address you have given to create an account page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3: Enter<\/strong> your OTP<\/strong> your invitation will accept by Amazon and then you will have to select a marketplace to get started with your work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 4: <\/strong>After selecting your marketplace Enable Two-Step Verification<\/strong> page will come and click on there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 5:<\/strong> To Enable Two-Step Verification firstly will have to give a phone number and then click continue to go on next step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 6: <\/strong>And then Amazon will send an OTP on that phone number, you will enter that OTP here to continue the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 7:<\/strong>  Work is almost done, just click on Got it, Turn on Two-Step Verification<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 8: <\/strong> Successfully account is created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 7: <\/strong>Now if you want to change the phone number you will have to follow the below step,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At First go to the Login Settings<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 8:  <\/strong>Then go to the Two-Step Verification (2SV) Settings Edit <\/strong>option<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 9:  <\/strong>Then first you have to add the new number and then click the 2nd indicator option to Add new phone on Authenticator App<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 10:<\/strong> Then a needed OTP page will come and OTP  already will send the new number to fill that to the below portion. The second number successfully updated <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 11:<\/strong> Then a 2nd phone number add option page will come, if you want to add the 2nd number you can add it here, or if you don\u2019t want to add you can click on the Not Now <\/strong>option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 12: <\/strong>If you want to add a backup method you can add an authenticator app to backup. You have to download an authenticator app on that updated phone number device and scan the QR Code<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After scanning the code an OTP will send to the app. Put that OTP on the blank portion and then continue<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 13: <\/strong>And then you have to click Change preferred method <\/strong>and <\/strong>also choose the Authenticator App <\/strong>option for completing the backup method<\/p>\n\n\n\n
