What is Strike-Through Price on eBay?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Strikethrough pricing, offered to certain sellers on the marketplace, is a visual treatment showing a line drawn through the original price of an item and a second, lower price offering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

eBay’s Strike-Through Pricing option allows merchants to show buyers their listings have been discounted in price, by “striking” a line through the List Price of an item on sale. Buyers will see the amount of money saved in the listing along with a new price. <\/p>\n\n\n

The maximum buyers just love to buy a product with a discounted price. So, strike through price is the best way to attract buyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strike-through price process<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Giving an offer on eBay with the strike-through price is very simple. Follow the below steps carefully. Before creating the strike-through promotion list your item with MSRP price. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note<\/strong>: In this process, you can give a maximum of 45 days promotions after 45 days you need to re-active your promotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: <\/strong>Once logged into your eBay account, you can see that on the top side of the screen eBay features are grouped into categories that you can use. Click on Selling <\/strong>from My eBay. <\/strong>This will take you to the Seller Hub.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

To creating strike-through price click Promotions<\/strong> from Marketing. <\/strong>This will take you to the Manage promotions page.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 2: <\/strong>Now got the Sale event + markdown <\/strong>from Create a promotion. <\/strong>There are several options in the create Create a promotion. <\/strong>If you want you can give other discounts from there.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 3: <\/strong>After clicking Sale event + markdown <\/strong>you will entire Create a sale event <\/strong>page. You can give a percentage off or\u00a0 $ off, both will reflect the same way. Now choose how many percentages you want to off from the dropdown and click on Select items<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

Here you will find two options 1. Select items and 2. Create rules. In Select items<\/strong>, you can add a maximum of 500 items per promotions and in Create rules <\/strong>you can add 10,000 items per promotions using your rules. Now choose one and entire.<\/p>\n\n\n

In this step, you need to select the items that you want to give promotion. Now click on Confirm selections<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

In here, you can again check and confirming the selection, adding more items or remove items. After checking click on Save and review<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the final step, set the Sale event name <\/strong>and Sale event descriptions<\/strong>. Now click on Launch<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will take some time to launch. You can check the status from the Manage promotions dashboard.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everything set now. Now your product is with Strike-Through price. Once Strike-Through Pricing is turned ON, after that if you want you can remove item from these promotions, but after the creation date you need to wait at least one day. After one day you can remove this strike-through promotion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is another way to give strike-through price with feed file. But every seller is not eligible for this format.
