Generally, there are two types of uploading process of products in Amazon Vendor Central among which one is in bulk through Template file and another is Manual upload from Vendor Central Interface. Since we know that Amazon sellers can join Vendor Central only via an invitation from the corporate team and so as soon as they push the start button their products are listed \u201csold by Amazon\u201d. Which means that there is no doubt that this phrase boosts the shoppers\u2019 trust and faith in the product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a seller or as Amazon calls them \u201csupplier\u201d the perfect feed of their product is a vital section of listing but compared to the Seller Central, the Vendor Central makes it more comprehensible. Let\u2019s walk through the process of bulk listing through Template file and Manual Listing in the Amazon Vendor Central.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bulk feed to Amazon Vendor Central<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For bulk feed upload, the supplier should maintain some rules and regulation which can make the bulk upload more user friendly and more quickly. For listing the products, it needs to be in a particular Spreadsheet structure, which is provided by Amazon Vendor Central in their website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first, we need go to the \u2018Items<\/strong>\u2019 category and select the sub-category \u2018Bulk Product Submission<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n

After selecting the sub-category \u2018Bulk Product Submission<\/strong>\u2019 it will take us to another page where we are able to observe some caution regarding bulk product upload which can only be uploaded by spreadsheets.<\/p>\n\n\n

Now, if we want\u00a0 to download the spreadsheet, we need to\u00a0 click in the \u2018Downloads<\/strong>\u2019 tab right below the \u2018Bulk product submissions<\/strong>\u2019 title. In \u2018Downloads<\/strong>\u2019 we can see the latest update of the spreadsheet.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only the page let us download the spreadsheet but also displays the date of creation and the number of products. The spreadsheet contains different columns and rows which need to be filled.<\/p>\n\n\n

After saving the spreadsheet, select the \u201cSubmission\u201d tab, then Upload Products to upload the spreadsheet and wait for a while.<\/p>\n\n\n

The end result of that process would be showing us the error and successfully uploaded product. And the error named products will have a different spreadsheet to sort them out and re-upload them again using the same methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manual Upload to Amazon Vendor Central<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For the Manual Upload, or what  we say usually adding a single product, the methods are a bit different because any single product could be uploaded anytime in case the supplier missed or forgot the item. Normally, after a bulk listing or feeding, we see some of the product merged with some other product or any slight errors. In that case, the manually uploading product would be a relevant option. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For doing that we have to click category \u2018Items\u2019 then subcategory \u2018Add product<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n

A tab will open as \u2018Adding Single Product\u2019, where we can see different categories based on the product. Since we know the supplier left product during the bulk uploading time because of possible errors so the Add Product<\/strong> option has \u2018Add new or Existing products\u2019<\/strong> and the supplier has to provide (ASIN, UPC, EAN, or GTIN) codes to upload the product.<\/p>\n\n\n

Another option provides the privilege of adding product out of \u2018Supported Category\u2019 in two ways named \u2018Add Single Product\u2019 and \u2018Add Multiple Product with a NIS template. After, selecting one of them we have to upload our file with information regarding (ASIN, UPC, EAN, or GTIN).<\/p>\n\n\n

All in all, these are the ways of uploading products in Amazon Vendor Central. Furthermore, although sellers do have to put in more work (and maybe more money in fees), they tend to have a bit more control than their vendor counterparts. They\u2019ll need to pay various fees per item and per sale and they\u2019ll also have to manage their own pricing, customer communication, and fulfillment (unless they pay extra for FBA.). They also have more control over their customers because if you\u2019re a vendor you\u2019re selling items of your products to Amazon and then Amazon sells those products to your customers.<\/p>\n\n\n
