If you missed that please take a quick look below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Amazon PPC Campaigns Bidding Strategy and Placement | How to Adjust Amazon Campaign Bid by Placement\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dJVdb5hX1y4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recently Amazon advertising has brought \u201cRules-Based Bidding for Sponsored Products.\u201d This computerized bidding for Sponsored Products helps you center of attention your advertising and marketing dollars on actual conversions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What is Rule-Based Bidding?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Amazon PPC, a rule-based bidding system helps the user to make manual decisions for adjustments made to campaigns by defining \u201cif\/then\u201d rules that would trigger bid and keyword modifications based on your pre-set bid and keyword parameters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How it Works<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rule-based bidding was created to allow you to have a targeted ROAS. This PPC strategy takes the guesswork out of adjusting bids to achieve your marketing strategy. With this bidding strategy, you can apply a rule and provide an average bid for your campaign. Amazon will then adjust the base bids up and down with each impression trying to achieve your performance guardrail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note that Amazon doesn\u2019t guarantee that they will hit the guardrail that you set, but if your campaign doesn\u2019t meet the guardrail and your campaign\u2019s ROAS drops over a 21-day period, they will disable the rule on your behalf and will enable your previous bidding strategy and targeting level bids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Campaign Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previously we could use other bidding strategies after creating a sponsored campaign. But there are some more criteria that need to be matched for using Rule-Based bidding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rule-based bidding is available for Sponsored Products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Campaigns can use any type of targeting: automatic, keyword, or product targeting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your campaign must be running for at least 30 days prior to setting a rule and have a minimum of 30 conversions in the last 30 days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additionally, your campaign must meet the minimum daily budget requirement of 10 USD.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rule-Based Bidding for Special Days<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For giving more flexibility to sellers, special days like Prime Day and Black Friday are not included during the 21-day period. So you can increase your average bid for your ads to be in line with what is necessary for that special day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Getting Started with Rule-Based Bidding<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To get started with rule-based bidding select a specific campaign and go to the campaign setting option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/VSGqs_32qdhChPBSjsWYuWOdcUyCR37iA800yyHLuo3IIaKgJifTVTXDff5XKeMQePCsPaAMGBBr3p5j3O_G-eEXWzknZAyi_ebhC6l78MkdochJtrijeugLRFoefZLNfXOw03JnFy2_arOB_w\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After clicking on the Rule-based bidding option Amazon will auto-populate their endorsed ROAS in the rule line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/nF9klFCEBPXxP5EKyaMUia-459zaluhWSdTxX4OZnFP9rA4EB6soqKUWt1CsF1YFFvCEePANgnlpNbQRnUP6BW4dPDYVjmEYa0OK6azp-zvbRiGYVeQp0qWY5HkXREeJbiIna_Enly2Et4MlXw\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We suggest setting the ROAS to something that is higher than the current campaign ROAS. For example, if your current ROAS is 3, try 3.5 or 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Importance of Rule-Based Bidding<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are some key benefits of using this bidding strategy.
