4. Competitive Pricing

5. Multiple Main Images

6. Canonical URL

7. Variation Listing

So I am explaining all the parts through this post, and you can make the notes to implement or improve your Amazon listings.

Number 4: Competitive Pricing

Setting the right price for your product is very important as it helps to attract customers to your product. When selecting the pricing of your product, you should always have the MSRP then your selling price. MSRP stands for Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price. It would help if you always targeted to have your MSRP price higher than your product price. There are two main benefits to having lower product prices in the beginning.

The first reason for setting this type of pricing is to get better customer reach. As Amazon offers the Best Deal to their customer, having your product price lower than the MSRP will let Amazon suggest your product to customers even more.

But if your MSRP is lower than your product price, amazon will think that you are overpricing your customers. Amazon loves it when you maintain lower product pricing. Doing this proves to amazon that you are giving Amazon Customers the best pricing deal. You can also set max, min, and business prices.

The second reason is to gain valuable customer reviews. As a new seller, reviews are very important for your product. When you offer a better-valued product for a lower price, your product will start to gain reviews.

It would help if you always had a lower price to generate higher value for your product. It would help if you always targeted getting positive reviews against your product so that it can gradually increase in popularity. As your product’s positive reviews increases, you can then incrementally increase your product’s pricing too. Never rapidly increase the pricing of your product, as doing so will create a negative impression of your product.

Number 5: Creating Multiple Split Test Main Images

The most critical aspect of your entire listing is its main images. When you are creating your product listing, you should have a minimum of 3 main images. Multiple main photos help you determine which image perfectly fits your product. The main images help to increase the click-through rate, which helps increase your product sales.

Your product’s main image must clearly show your product perfectly and also be appealing and attractive. It would help if you always portrayed the good side of your product, like having unique packaging. When you decide on your product’s main image, you need to be clever in selecting the right images that will help generate high impact. When laying out your main image, stay away from using promotional advertising like providing free gifts.

Your product should have multiple test images to find out which images provide the most impressions. You can run experimental trails with different main images for a specific time duration. After conducting all the test runs, you can now decide which image you will use for your product.

Number 6: Canonical URL

Canonical URL is used to rank your product on the Google search engine. You can only add your canonical URL once when you create a product listing. So you will need to be very careful about what you put there. The Canonical URL is made out of 5-word phrases, so you will also need to be conscious of what you are using. In the beginning, you can use your canonical word phrase in your title. This will help you to have better customer reach and increase sales.

It would help if you also used powerful and most searched keywords for your title, as this will also improve the chance of increasing your sales and getting a better positioning in Amazon search results.

Number 7:  Variation Listing

Another good way to attract your buyers is through variation listings. You can either manually or by using a feed to create a variation listing so potential buyers can choose any of your items from your listings.
